Rotary Club
The Parkersburg Rotary Club has been in existence since the 1938 and has 21 active members.
Recent projects include establishing a Rotary Discovery Park, working with the Visioning Committee on projects that help the appearance of Parkersburg along the highways, collecting Christmas trees for habitat, 2 blood drives annually, Fun Days, providing and planting trees for residents to beautify their home, participating in the Butler County Walk for Life for the American Cancer Society, sponsoring foreign exchange students, and collecting medical equipment to provide to needy countries around the world.
The Parkersburg Rotary Club has also supported Dr. Karuparthy, MD (309-762-7246) is hosting Free "Discover Pain Relief with Yoga" clinics.
Parkersburg Rotary also participates in international projects by supporting the Rotary International Foundation.
